I think this is about a few related things… 1) if it’s too good to be true… it more than likely is… 2) if it sounds tacky and is really, really cheap… it’s likely to be cheap and tacky… 3) on some things, it makes no sense to go for the lowest price… think an offer for complex brain surgery for a hundred quid and a crate of Stella… now that would be a ‘no brainer’!
