This one is based on experience! I once asked a retired neighbour, who said he wanted to do a few handyman jobs, to build a low retaining wall… it was on a slight slope… so, as he was not the sharpest knife in the cutlery drawer, I explained that the brick layers would need to be ‘level’… not parallel to the slope… When I returned a week later he had done it… just like the picture… moral: there is ‘thick’ and there is ‘stagnant genetic pool’
